"Covering Disasters" Seminar
Through a grant from the Associated Electric Companies of Texas and additional sponsorship from the University of Texas School of Journalism, the Texas Press Association, the Texas A&M Forest Service and the Headliners Foundation, regional Texas press associations are hosting a series of seminars aimed at discussing the tenets of good news coverage when a disaster strikes a community.The Headliners Foundation has participated in the production of a video recording of the seminar held in Round Rock, Texas at the meeting of the South Texas Press Association on April 8, 2013. Griff Singer of the UT Austin School of Journalism is the moderator.
