Kelli Barnes
Polk County Publishing
Kelli Barnes has been promoted to operations manager for Polk County Publishing Company overseeing eight publications.
Most recently Barnes was manager of the Tyler County Booster. 

 

Beth Faircloth
Tyler County Booster
Beth Faircloth has been promoted to office manager at the Tyler County Booster.
She will handle display advertising and does much of the graphics design work at the Booster. 

 

Anna Rae Gwarjanski
The Paris News
Anna Rae Gwarjanski has joined The Paris News as city editor. She was formerly a copy editor and designer for the Tuscaloosa News, and a contributor to Tuscaloosa magazine. She was also the copy editor and photographer for Alabama Publisher magazine.
“Her talents, leadership and energy will be a tremendous asset for both our newspaper and community as we continue during a time of impressive growth at The Paris News,” said Publisher J.D. Davidson.
Gwarjanski obtained her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in journalism theory from the University of Alabama.

 

Kacie Heckman
Tyler County Booster
Kacie Heckman has joined the advertising department of the Tyler County Booster.
Heckman will work on special sections. She is a Sam Houston State University graduate and graduated from Colmesneil High School. 

 

Cheyenne Mueller
Uvalde Leader-News
Cheyenne Mueller has joined the Uvalde Leader-News as a staff writer.
Mueller is a 2011 graduate of Uvalde High School. She received a bachelor of arts degree in English from Texas A&M University in College Station in 2015. She served as film writer and assistant editor for Maroon Weekly magazine.
Mueller will take over many of the editorial duties of lifestyles editor Kim Eagle, who is moving to Colorado. 

 

Roy Reynolds
Liberty Vindicator
Roy Reynolds has been named interim managing editor of the Liberty Vindicator while Granite Publications searches for a permanent replacement for Carol Skewes, former Publisher of The Vindicator, The Anahuac Progress and South Liberty County Quarterly. Reynolds has extensive journalism experience, writing for many publications, including the Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones News Service.
